The primary design layout organizes essential categories; clothing, makeup, flowers, shoes, and accessories, symbolizing the core aspects of prom preparation. A detailed checklist helps users navigate options, from finding attire at thrift stores to exploring DIY flower arrangements. Each section adapts to various styles and budgets, ensuring the design’s flexibility across different needs. The color palette, inspired by classic prom themes, features soft pastels and muted tones that evoke elegance and accessibility, maintaining a friendly and inviting vibe.

Typography plays a key role in conveying the guide’s approachable tone. Al Fresco, a clean, modern script introduces each category, making it easy to read and follow. Contrasting is Chivo. It is bold and emphasizes key steps, reinforcing a lively and practical feel that resonates with prom-goers.
